Your Village, Your Voice

Hankelow Parish Council is here to support and represent everyone who lives in our beautiful village. We are proud to serve a close-knit community, working together to protect Hankelow's unique character while helping it grow and thrive for future generations. As your local council, we're the first point of contact for village matters – from planning applications and environmental projects to supporting local events and preserving important spaces. We work hand-in-hand with Cheshire East Council and other organisations to make sure Hankelow's voice is always heard.

Together, we're building a vibrant, caring, and sustainable community for all.

An Extra-Ordinary Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 1st April to discuss the leaflet circulated by Hipkins Homes outlining a forthcoming planning application for up to 26 dwellings on land east of Audlem Road, Hankelow. All are welcome. Please find the agenda here, and the leaflet circulated here.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, comprising the Annual Parish Meeting followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, commencing at 7.30pm at Hankelow Chapel. See Calendar of Meetings.
